Excitement, action, domination, when the Indianapolis Colts play you know what to expect. I believe the Indianapolis Colts are the best and the most interesting Pro football team in the NFL, let me tell you why.

The Colts football team was originally started in Baltimore, but then after some controversy the owners of the Colts moved the team to Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts struggled for the first couple of seasons in Indianapolis, then came along the 1998 NFL draft and the Colts wisely selected Peyton Manning out of Tennessee rather than the more highly rated quarterback Ryan Leaf. Peyton Manning is the first reason the Colts are the most interesting and talented team in the NFL. For the past decade Peyton manning has been at the top of the list when it comes to quarter backs. With his lazer rocket arm, great leader ship and quick decision making no one can be compared to Peyton. In the 2006, Peyton Manning led the Colts over the Chicago Bears to super bowl title. Their first since the team moved to Indianapolis.

The year 2006 was also the year when the Colts drafted slightly know Joseph Addia in the first round. Which proved to be a great decision as he and Dominic Rhodes split the time as running back in their super bowl season. In the 2007 seasons Addia was one of the top rushing leaders. Another reason I think the Colts are an interesting Football team is their Coach Tony Dungy. Tony played a couple years in the NFL at Pittsburgh ,but he then decided to start coaching after he was traded several times. The first head coaching job the Coach Dungy had was at the Tampa bay Buccaneers. the team Dungy stared out with was miles behind the team he ended with. The Buccaneers were a 4-12 kind of team when dungy got their. After he left they were a season away from wining their franchises first super bowl. Shortly after he was let go from the Buccaneers the colts mangers gave Tony Dungy a quick interview and a couple of days later Tony Dungy will be the new head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. Tony Dungy is one of my most favorite and most interesting head coaches in the NFL of all time. Not because of how many super bowls he has won or how many games he has been the victor, or what kind of defense he uses, but because he is an out spoken Christian. Coach Dungy recently wrote a best selling book called Quiet Strength. His book talks about his walk with God throughout his life including all the challenges he was and is facing today. He also talks about his son James and when James took his own life. Quit Strength is a great book and I encourage anyone and everyone to read this book it really helps you understand some more about Gods works.

The Indianapolis Colts are one of the few elite and interesting teams in the NFL. Whether it is Peyton Manning throwing for forty nine touchdowns in a season, Joseph Addia breaking the rushing record, or just Tony Dungy saying a pray before each and every game he coaches. So you can see that the Indianapolis Colts are one of the most interesting teams in sports.
